Festive Friday Fun Meet
Last day of practice is this Friday and so we are having a fun meet with the Masters and parents welcome!  The meet will be very casual.  There will be 25s, 50s, and relays.  Events for everyone!
Registration for Next Session
Registration is now open for both the Age Group and Masters swimmers.  The early bird deadline is December 31.  We are going to try a run of the I Can Swim program for the younger set.  All of our coaches – Christiana, Tiffany, Jacob, and myself - will be returning for the winter session.
Meet Schedule for Winter Session 2016
In the Winter Session, we will have meets for everyone!

January 30&31:  Chena Meet in North Vancouver
This swim meet is open to swimmers 12 and under.  Swimmers do not have to have their LMR times (200IM under 4:00).  This will be a two day meet that runs from 8-12 Saturday and Sunday mornings – swimmers can attend only one day if they would like.  Events will include 25s, 50s, 100s in all strokes, 200IM, and relays.  Sign up for the meet will be in the first week of winter session.

January 30&31:  Knights Meet in Surrey
This meet is for swimmers who have their LMR and are looking to qualify for Provincial Championships.  The Surrey pool is quite new, hosted AAA provincials last winter, and is a great venue for a swim meet.

February 12,13,14:  AA Provincial Championships in Penticton
To qualify, swimmers must have achieved two AA times.

March 3,4,5,6:  AAA Provincial Championships in Victoria
To qualify, swimmers must have achieved three AAA times.
Christmas Party
Thanks to Norm Strim for organising a great Christmas dinner at Rosie’s. We had a good turn out and it was fun to socialize with everyone outside of the pool!
Winners of the top pledge money – Kat Kranjc, Georgia Strim, Kierstin Higgins
As for the team winners – we are waiting for two more people to hand in their pledges to calculate the winners.
Have a great Christmas Break and a very happy New Year!
Practices resume January 4, 2016!
