Meet Fees
Meet fees are made up of Entry Fees and WSWSC Competition Fees.
The chart below will give you a rough idea of what to expect. Our Administrator handles these payments and can be contacted at info@whistlerseawolves.com if you have questions.
*Please note that you may also be required to pay a Swim BC upgrade fee. See below for more information.

Entry Fees
Every meet has swimmer entry fees assessed by the hosting swim club. Sometimes the entry fee is a flat-rate fee (e.g $80 for a 2-day meet, no matter how many events you swim) and sometimes it is a per-event fee (e.g. $12/event). For sanctioned meets (i.e. those registered with Swimming Canada), these fees are outlined in the Meet Package that each host prepares. Whenever possible, we include a link to the Meet Package on our meet sign-up page.
WSWSC Competition Fees
These are the fees that WSWSC charges parents in order to cover some of the Club’s expenses that are incurred when attending a meet (e.g. administrative costs, as well as travel and accommodation expenses for coaches.) Fees will vary depending on a number of variables such as the location of the meet, the number of competition days, and the number of WSWSC swimmers participating in the meet. The more swimmers we have at the meet, the lower the per-swimmer fee will be.

Swim BC upgrade
Depending on which option you selected at registration (non-competitive or competitive), you may need to pay an additional Swim BC upgrade fee for your child to participate in certain meets. The non-competitive fee allows for swimmers to participate in only one sanctioned meet per season (September to June).
Whistler home meets
For Whistler home meets, meet fees are included with your registration payment.
Meet Fee Payment Policy
Also please be advised, that once an athlete commits to a meet, the meet fees become due and payable to the club and can not be reversed and/or refunded unless:
The swimmer cancels prior to the meet entry deadline, or
If the meet is cancelled by the organizers or our participation in the meet is cancelled due to lack of interest, or
If there is a medical issue, and the athlete meets the hosting club's specific rules for a refund.
