Shorts and flips-flops are a good idea—you are likely to get at least a little wet.
Please bring your own snacks and water if necessary.

3. Electronics Assistant (1)
Assists with managing the meet using Meet Manager software. *Previous experience required.
4. Clerk of Course (1)

5. Chief Timekeeper (1)

7. Marshalls (2)

8. Stroke & Turns (4)
Work in pairs on each side of the pool, ruling on infractions on their side of the pool only. They observe strokes, turns, and finishes to see that swimmers comply with requirements for that stroke. *Training is required for this position (we usually hold a training clinic in the spring.)
9. Timekeepers (12-18)
Record the swimmers’ times. Each timekeeper is provided with a stopwatch and assigned a lane. Two timers are assigned to each lane. Both times are recorded and the average time becomes the official time. This job gives you a good view of the pool and swimmers during their races.
10. Set-Up & Tear Down (3)
Set up the pool area for the swim meet and return the pool area to its previous state at the end of the meet. *There may be heavy lifting.
11. Greeter (2)
Greeters meet attendees and take attendance as the swimmers enter MPSC and direct them as necessary.
