Stroke & Turn Judge Training

Friday, May 26 in the evening and/or Saturday, May 27 in the morning

Stroke & Turn Judges work in pairs on each side of the pool, ruling on infractions on their side of the pool only. They observe strokes, turns, and finishes to see that swimmers comply with requirements for that stroke. Training by a Swim BC official is required for volunteers in this role.

Typically we hold this training once a year on the Friday evening before our Swim Meet because we have a Swim BC official already coming up to Whistler to be the Meet Referee. The training usually takes less than an hour, and you will have a cheat sheet with you on the pool deck during the meet, and plenty of people who can help if you have questions.
